This summer, come and try a variety of tempting technical treats.

From Monday 19th August we have three days of Tech Camp running in All Saints Church Centre, Four Oaks, Sutton Coldfield.

Monday 19th - LEGO Engineeering.

Using the excellent LEGO WeDO 2.0 STEM kits we will challenge children to use their creative engineering skills to build and program models ranging from F1 cars, to jumping Gorillas. The kits contain motors, Active IR and gyroscopic sensors and close to 300 pieces of lego allowing hundreds of models to be created. Programming is completed using LEGO's own block editor and, using Bluetooth, we can send these commands to our builds to fully automate their movements. There'll be individual and team challenges and it's guaranteed to be a fun day.

Tuesday 20th August - 3D Printing and Maker's Day.

It’s MAKER MADNESS in our interactive INVENTORS holiday club.

Create your own personalised keyring using our 3D PRINTER. Children will use 3D design software to create their own model before we 3D print it on the day. Truly letting a child's imagination become a reality!

We will also have invention challenges using our MICRO:BITS or go full engineer while building interactive models on our EDISON ROBOT kits

With a variety of software children will create, code and become ‘makers’ not just ‘consumers’.

Wednesday 21st August - Minecraft Adventures

It's Minecraft - but not as we know it!

If you have mined and crafted all there is in Minecraft then how about learning to PROGRAM in Minecraft . Or learning circuitry and utilising the electrical powers of REDSTONE.

Program a turtle to do your mining for you using the LUA programming language so that you can sit back and relax. OR how about programming an army of turtles and build your own MINECRAFT EMPIRE!
